About the artist: Nina Chavez is a 6th generation New Mexican, with her family
dating back to the 1700's. Her mother is a clothing designer and her father
a metal craftsman who taught Nina how to weld and work with metals. Nina
combined techniques she learned from her parents into unique ideas for unusual
colors and textures
