The flag of the State of Arizona consists of 13 rays of red and weld-yellow on the top half representing the 13 original counties of Arizona. The red and yellow also symbolize Arizona's picturesque sunsets. There is a copper colored star in the center representing Arizona's copper-mining industry, since Arizona produces more copper than any other state in the USA. The rest of the flag is colored blue, representing liberty.
Unfortunately, we've never been able to find a Southwest-based flag maker. But, after extensive research, we did find that the best quality flags are still Made in USA, by a small family-owned company in the Midwest.
Unlike the cheap polyester flags made in China that you can find anywhere, these flags are made of thick SolarMax 200 nylon and are designed to be flown up to 5 years outdoors. They feature double-stitching, brass grommets, and the correct colors.
Of course, as with so many products, American-made quality costs a little more, but we think you'll agree they're worth it.
