Originating with the Aztecs, Dia de los Muertos (or Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday celebrated to remember and honor the lives of past loved ones. Dia de los Muertos is observed on November 1st and 2nd throughout Mexico and the Southwestern United States.

Artist Stacey Sullivan's imagery combines bold flamboyant color with rich imagery and design. Stacey's original works are exhibited and sold all over the world. Here, Stacey's soulful skeletons are framed in tinwork by her husband, Santa Fe tinwork artist John Maldonado.

Three images to choose from: Runaway Train, Thanksgiving Feast, and Flamenco Magic.
