Shipping Terms
- To prevent misunderstandings, you will be required to
acknowledge reading this page during checkout.
- 95% of orders ship within one business day from our
Taos, NM store. If we receive your order for in-stock merchandise by 10
a.m. Mountain time Mon.-Fri., it should ship that day.
- Please verify the address and obtain the Zip+4 code
for shipments to US addresses using the
Post
Office National Address Server. Your order may arrive faster. (Note:
If your order is returned to us as undeliverable, you will be subject to a
25% restocking fee and return shipping charges.)
- Please ship to a commercial (work) address attended
during the day. If you provide a residential address, be aware that the
recipient may need to pick up the package at the nearest post office or
UPS facility if no one is home
- Our shipping charges are based on the total weight of
the items in your order. (This is the fairest way to assess
shipping charges because that's the way USPS and UPS charge us.).
- The "shipping weight" of each product we sell is listed on the page
describing the product; the shipping weight is equal to the actual
weight of the item plus packaging. Shipping charges may include some of the
cost of packaging materials and the labor to process, pick and pack the
order.

(But, when all costs are computed, we still lose about $3.00 for
each order we shipped compared to selling the same merchandise in our
retail store.)
- Very occasionally, an item you ordered will be out-of stock. If
we believe there will be a delay in shipping any part of your
order, we will send you an email message with the expected shipping date.
We don’t ship partial orders: Your entire order will be held until any
backordered items are in stock, but never more than 30 days.
- You may cancel your order, without penalty, at any time prior
to it shipping. Simply contact us
by email. Please include your order number from the receipt that was
emailed to you when you ordered. Note: Once your order has shipped, it
cannot be cancelled and must be returned in compliance with our normal
Return Policy.
- If your order is lost or arrives damaged: Submit our
Loss/Damage
Claim Form and contact us.

- Orders shipped using this method ship via either UPS Ground or USPS
Parcel Post, at our discretion. If you prefer one method over the other, please state this in the Comments field of our order form.
- You may use this option if shipping to any US address, including PO
Box, APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or any other U.S. territory.
- If the address is not listed in the
Post
Office National Address Server (i.e., no Zip+4 code) you should
contact the recipient to obtain the correct address...we will not be
responsible for packages which are mis-delivered or undeliverable
because you did not verify the address.
- A 25% restocking fee (plus any return shipping charge) will apply if
a package is returned to us as undeliverable.
- Please provide an address which is attended during the day, or the
recipient may have to pick it up at the nearest Post Office or UPS
facility during regular business hours.
- This service takes 3-9 days once it has been shipped to an address
in the 48 contiguous states:
- Time-in-transit is not guaranteed. For faster service,
choose USA Expedited (Air) below.
- Your order is not considered overdue until 10 days have passed
since it was shipped (15 days during December).
- Add 20 days for HI, AK, and US territory addresses; 45 days for
APO/FPO addresses
- We will email you a USPS Delivery Confirmation or UPS Tracking
number once the order has been packed. To receive an email from the Post
Office when the package status is updated, enter the Delivery
Confirmation number on the
Post Office web site, press GO and then choose "Track & Confirm by
Email", or use the
UPS
Tracking Page, as appropriate.
- 95% of all orders ship within one business day. If you track the
package on the Post Office web site before it has been delivered, it
will likely state, "The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified
by the shipper to expect your package for mailing. This does not
indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Information, if
available, is updated every evening. Please check again later." However,
even if you receive this message, rest assured that we have
definitely shipped the package and it is on its way.
- USA Expedited (Air)
- Orders shipped using this method ship via USPS Priority Mail.
- You may use this option if shipping to any US address, including PO
Box, APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or any other U.S. territory.
- If the address is not listed in the
Post
Office National Address Server (i.e., no Zip+4 code) you should
contact the recipient to obtain the correct address...we will not be
responsible for packages which are mis-delivered or undeliverable

- Canada Standard (Ground)
- Orders for which this method was selected ship by UPS Standard.
- Valid for street addresses in the Canadian provinces of AB, BC, MB,
NB, NF, NL, NS, ON, PE, QC, and SK. (Additional charges will apply to
deliveries in remote post codes:

- This service normally takes 5-7 business days once it has been
shipped. (If you need faster service, select "Intl. Expedited (Air)"
below.)
- Your order is not considered overdue until 10 business days have
passed since it was shipped.
- UPS Canada charges
fees to broker customs clearance for shipments arriving from the
United States. UPS will collect this fee from you, plus GST and any
other applicable duties/taxes, before releasing your shipment to you.
- If delivery is refused or your order is returned to us as
undeliverable, we will refund the purchase price of the merchandise,
less any return postage charge and a 25% restocking fee.
- You are responsible for paying any GST, customs brokerage fees, or
other customs charges associated with your order. If, through no fault
of our own, we are later billed any import-related taxes or fees that
should have been paid by you, we reserve the right to bill your credit
card for those taxes or fees at any time.
- It is against U.S. Customs regulations for us to falsify the value
of the order on the invoice included in your package or on the customs

passed since it was mailed.
- If delivery is refused or your order is returned to us as
undeliverable, we will refund the purchase price of the merchandise,
less any return postage charge and a 25% restocking fee.
- You are responsible for paying any GST/VAT, duty, taxes, customs
brokerage fees, or other import-related charges associated with your
order.
- It is against U.S. Customs regulations for us to falsify the value
of the order on the invoice included in your package or on the customs
declaration.
- We reserve the right to require international customers to comply
with additional security procedures, including: faxing us the order;
providing an email address that is not a "free" account; faxing us
photocopies of your credit card and government-issued photo
identification card; providing us with the telephone and fax numbers of
the bank which issued your credit card; etc.
