Hand Blown Glass Hot Air Balloons

Hand Blown, Sculpted and Fused Glass from Robbins Ranch Art Glass! They create bright and whimsical, fun and functional hand blown glass. These hand blown glass hot air balloons are all one of a kind. Each piece is uniquely different. The Glass Blowing studio is located in Stanley, New Mexico, 45 miles southeast of Santa Fe, and 40 miles east of Albuquerque, on the old family cattle ranch that was homesteaded by Dana’s great-grandfather, John Laird, in 1918. Dana & Karen moved to this property in 1996 to remodel an old block house and build a shop. After the house was restored and made livable, it took a few years to transform the old pole barn that used to store hay for cattle, into their glass blowing studio. Karen & Dana Robbins say, "We love New Mexico. We feel very lucky to have an opportunity to follow our dream, blow glass full-time and create art in such an inspiring place. Our little ranch has a good creative energy with clear blue skies, views of three mountain ranges and cows as our closest neighbors. Indeed a special place to work and live. Below we would like to share a couple shots of the Robbins Ranch, some of us working in the studio and a few of our travels on the road, selling our art glass."
